About Opportunity Farm

Opportunity Farm was established in 2017 and named after Erin's childhood barn she grew up riding in. Our goal is to create a safe and fun location for everyone to learn and enjoy horses while progressing through our levels based curriculum 'Achievement Book'.

Our Programs

We offer lesson and training programs for students aged 3+.

Rainbow Riders

Children as young a 3 years old can learn about the joy of horses.

Riding School Program

Our riding school program offers lesson to all ages.

Homeschool groups and Summer Camps

Morning group horsemanship classes that work through our equine education and riding requirement curriculum.

Explore the amazing world of horses in our summer camps for ages 6 and up. We cover horsemanship skills, craft time, riding time, hands on grooming and tacking up, basic skills needed to take care of a horses.

Achievement Book

From our rainbow riders levels to our 7 levels of achievement - our students enjoy tracking their progress and setting goals. Our levels based curriculum helps our instructors make sure our students are both great riders and horse people. Our levels based approach allows students to set and reach goals and makes sure all knowledge is taught in a fun and rewarding way.

My 5 year oldhas learned so much and she has never been around horses ever she gets so excited when she gets to have her riding lesson day and just as excited for her horsemanship lesson. and when she does ride she hops on the pony's as if she has been doing this for years.The trainers are absolutely informative,Patient and kind they are wonderful in teaching my 5 year old who's attention can get distracted easy to re direct her. The fact that my daughter is excited to help clean up and get things together has made my heart so happy! She has such a passion now that it makes me so happy to see! This is a horse and rider dream barn. So special, great riders, fantastic trainers. Kind, knowledgeable, and like a family, everyone here is SUPER nice. Don't go anywhere else. Everyone there works as a team and they have all helped my horse become athletically stronger and mentally calm. they have equipped my horse to be the BEST he has ever been. Likewise they have helped me to become a more confident and safe rider; willing to try to work harder and become a more balanced rider for my horse. My daughters did the HomeSchool lessons and had an amazing experience! They learned a ton of information about horses and riding and had fun at the same time! When we were looking for a barn for my 8 year old, I was looking for a barn where horsemanship, the knowledge and care of the horse, was emphasized as much as the riding instruction. The combination is what develops the best riders and horse people. Erin and her team do a wonderful job of teaching and encouraging the work ethic that is also necessary for success with and enjoyment of horses. They also do an excellent job of cultivating a friendly and welcoming barn community so the children and their families create real connection to the each other and the horses.
